Course Projects

The attached file is an analysis paper I completed for my Communication and Conflict Management Couse (COMM 421). Based on a Case Study entitled "Shallow Talk and Separate Spaces", my paper explores the goals, conflict styles, and negative conflict patterns and behaviors of married couple Sarah and Russell. In this paper, I analyze how they handled the conflict and what they could have done to avoid the escalation of their conflict. Demonstrating that while conflict is inevitable it does not necessarily have to turn negative but can be managed productively.
